Astra acquires Apollo Fusion

Astra acquired Apollo Fusion in June 2021. Apollo Fusion was working on an electrical propulsion engine. With this engine, Astra will be able take payloads not only to low earth orbit, but to middle earth orbit, geostationary orbit, and to lunar orbit.

Astra is a company working on having daily launches. Its launches so far have all failed. Their next launch, planned for this summer, will be their first one with a customer payload.
