SpaceX is preparing for the first orbital flight of Starship using Booster 7 and Ship 24. Both have been undergoing testing over the past few months, including cryogenic pressure tests and spin prime engine tests. During Booster 7's spin prime test, buildup of fuel caused an unplanned ignition and explosion of all 33 of B7's Raptor 2 engines. After inspections, SpaceX assessed that the booster itself does not have any significant damage. Booster 7 is currently back in Mega Bay, undergoing Raptor replacement and inspections. Meanwhile, Ship 24 has had multiple spin prime tests of all 6 of its engines. Its next expected test is a preburner test followed by static fire testing. Also, Booster 8 has been fully stacked.

Seriously? This gets posted 2 weeks after the explosion? Not very up to date since no decision has been made over the damaged parts. Misinformation wins again
