On Saturday, February 26 at 6:44pm ET (23:44 UTC), CNSA launched the L-SAR 01B satellite atop a Long March (Chang Zheng) 4C rocket from Site 9401 (SLS-2) at the Jiquan Satellite Launch Center in China. L-SAR 01B, also called Ludi Tance-1 01B, is a Chinese satellite with a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) operating in the L-Band. It will work together with the previously launched L-SAR 01A satellite in quasi-heliosynchronous orbit. This was the 40th Long March 4C launch and the 19th orbital launch attempt of 2022.
