On Tuesday, March 30 at 10:29pm EDT (2:29 UTC on March 31), China launched three Tianping-2 satellites atop a Long March 11 (Chang Zheng 11) rocket from the Jiquan Satellite Launch Center in China. As usually with Chinese satellites, not many details are known about these satellites except that they will be used for study of the atmosphere. The satellites are named Tianping-2A, B, and C. This was the first land launch of Long March 11, since past launches were from barges. This was the 33rd orbital launch attempt of 2022 and the 12th Long March 11 launch.
