China Launches Long March 7A with Shiyan 12-01 and 12-02

On Thursday, December 23 at 5:10am ET (10:10 UTC), CNSA (The Chinese National Space Administration) launched a Long March 7A (Chang Zheng 7A) rocket with Shiyan 12-01 and 12-02 from LC-201 at the Wenchang Satellite Launch Center in China. The Shiyan satellites are Chinese test satellites. Long March 7A is a three-stage rocket which is a configuration of Long March 7. The difference between CZ-7A and the base CZ-7 rocket is the addition of a third stage. This will be the 7th Long March 7 launch and the 137th orbital attempt of 2021.
