Iran launches the Noor 2 satellite on Quased

On Tuesday, March 8 at 12:06am ET (5:06 UTC), Iran launched the Noor 2 satellite atop a Quased rocket from the Space Launch Platform at the Sahrud Missile Test Site in Iran. Quased is an Iranian three-stage rocket built by IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps). Noor 2 is a military reconnaissance satellite operated by IRGC. This was the 25th orbital launch attempt of 2022 and the second Quased launch.
