SpaceX is preparing for the orbital launch attempt of Starship. There are a few things to do beforehand:
Build the Launch Tower - about 50% complete
Build GSE Tanks - about 33% complete
Build GSE Covers - about 15% complete
Build the Launch Pad - almost complete
Build all the systems and tanks
Test Super Heavy hardware
The Super Heavy hardware that needs to be tested are BN2 and BN2.1. These are production pathfinders that will go through testing. BN2.1 is expected to roll out to the launch site today.
There is still a lot to do and I will write updates on the progress on this blog. Recently, a new member joined, ZLEA. I hope he or she starts posting soon. I will also try to put a tweet on every post I write with a comic from the Daily Hoppy. Here is the latest one for today's CRS-22 mission carrying cargo and animals to the ISS. I hope people like these posts.
