On Wednesday, March 9, at 8:45am ET (13:45 UTC), SpaceX launched Starlink Group 4 Launch 10, a batch with 48 Starlink v1.5 satellites, atop a Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Starlink is SpaceX's high-speed low-latency satellite internet designed to provide internet service, particularly to people in remote areas. Starlink has three versions: Starlink v1, Starlink v1.5 which has laser terminals, and Starlink v2 which will launch on Starship. Starlink also has 8 shells or groups (1 v1, 4 v1.5, and 3 v2) which must be all complete by 2027. The first stage for this mission (B1052) previously flew as Falcon Heavy side booster on Arabsat 6A and STP-2. It was then converted to a Falcon 9 first stage booster and flew on CSG-2. On this mission, the booster did its first drone ship landing, on "A Shortfall of Gravitas". This was the 26th orbital launch attempt of 2022, 153rd SpaceX mission, and the 145th Falcon 9 launch.
