On Friday, April 29 at 5:27pm EDT (21:27 UTC), SpaceX launched the Starlink Group 4 Launch 16 mission with 53 Starlink v1.5 satellites from Space Launch Complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Starlink is SpaceX's high-speed low-latency internet intended to be used globally. It has been recently used the Ukrainian army in their fight against Russia. There was a report that Putin is targeting Starlink satellites, but these were confirmed to be fake. The first stage for this mission, B1062, which previously flew on GPS III-4, GPS III-5, Inspiration4, Starlink 4-14, and Axiom-1, land edon the "Just Read the Instructions" drone ship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. This was the 47th orbital launch attempt of 2022, 160th SpaceX mission, and the 152nd Falcon 9 launch.
