On Tuesday, January 18 at 9:02pm ET (02:02 UTC on January 19), SpaceX launched the Starlink Group 4 Launch 6 mission with 49 Starlink v1.5 satellites atop a Falcon 9 Block 5 from Launch Complex 39A in Florida. Starlink is SpaceX's low-cost high-speed low-latency global internet designed particularly for people in remote areas. The first stage for this mission previously flew on GPS III-3, Turksat 5A, Transporter-2, and six Starlink missions. For this flight, the first stage landed on the "A Shortfall of Gravitas" droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. This was the 5th orbital attempt of 2022, 146th SpaceX mission, and the 138th Falcon 9 launch.
