SpaceX is preparing Ship 20 and Booster 4 for tests. S20 will be tested on Suborbital Pad B and B4 on Orbital Pad A. Both will have their engines installed for their tests, including their pressure tests. Elon Musk tweeted that Booster 4's static fire could happen as soon as next week. This will be the first time Raptor engines fire on the Orbital Launch Mount. This will be the second static fire for Super Heavy. Booster 3 had its static fire of 3 Raptors in July. This time, more engines are expected to be fired, maybe even all 29!
Even though both vehicles may be fully tested by the end of the month, it is unlikely the orbital test flight will happen this month or even next month. The reason is that the FAA still has their environmental review to do which has 30 days for comments which have not started yet.
