Past Launch: Starlink 2-1

SpaceX launched 52 Starlink satellites on September 13 at 8:35pm from SLC-4E at Vandenberg SFB in California. There was a number of first for this mission.

- First Starlink mission launching from the West Coast. Launching from Vandenberg will enable SpaceX to provide internet to the polar regions.

- First Time a Falcon 9 booster that launched from Vandenberg will land on Of Course I Still Love You. OCISLY was moved from Cape Canaveral to Long Beach so SpaceX can land boosters on a droneship in California.

- First launch of Starlink satellites with laser terminals. Using lasers removes the need of ground stations.
